IT CONTINUES…
At “WHAM! BAM! Thank you, ma’am!” – we witnessed 2 best friends collide for the first time – as the man formerly known as Flip D. Berger took on the reigning Other Champion - Stinky the Homeless Guy. As expected – it was more of a knock-down, drag-out than an actual wrestling match – ending with the referee losing control, and ringing the bell to declare a no contest – when Flip pulverized Stinky with a chairshot for the second show in a row.
At the Vans Warped Tour – these 2 men will square off again. Title on the line, and there WILL be a finish – as this match will be contested under anything goes street fight rules. Will Flip up-end Stinky for the title? Or will the Homeless Guy return the favor, wrapping a chair around the head of his one-time best friend, in order to retain? July 11! Do it!
TWIGGY’S GOT BEEF
On April 12, we saw Beef Wellington score a cheap victory over Twiggy, rolling him up – utilizing the ropes for leverage. Wellington soaked up the boos from the crowd, while the Twigster was rightfully upset at the underhanded tactics used by one of the men responsible for breaking him into the wrestling business. He made his way backstage, and almost instantly – requested a rematch.
We approached Beef with Twiggy’s request – only to be turned down. He went into his match at “WHAM! BAM! Thank you, ma’am!” looking to beat some respect into the kid, who had mocked him for his loss to Giant Tiger at February’s “Slamtasia 2″ event. With that victory achieved, he no longer had issues with his former student – and didn’t feel the need to wrestle him again.
While we respected his wishes – we still attempted to find some sort of common ground – in order to satisfy both men’s wishes. After a little bit of thinking – we believe we have found just that.
On July 11 – both competitors WILL be in action – although, not against one another. Instead, we have offered them both the right to choose their rival’s opponent for that date. Twiggy, while unsatisfied with the stipulation, has accepted – and is thinking away. Beef’s choice, however, has already been made. Without much thinking – he chose someone who is bigger, stronger, and almost as much of a dickhead as himself. At the Vans Warped Tour – Twiggy will take on Michael Von Payton. While this is their first ever meeting in Inter Species Wrestling – these two have a fairly long and storied past. This should make for an interesting contest.
