OPENING SPIEL
Greetings, fans of Inter Species Wrestling. Especially those of you in the United States. On August 8, we will be coming down to your lovely country, with something to prove. And because we’ve got something to prove – in East Hartford, Connecticut – we will be presenting you all with easily one of the BEST Inter Species Wrestling shows ever booked. The current roster will mix it up with some returning faces – as well as some who will be making their first ever appearance in the company – to put on what we think will be a fairly fun, and exciting show.
On August 8, we’re coming to Connecticut to show you who we are, and what we’re all about. And we hope you like us.
And now that my little rant is over with – here are the first matches for the debut of Inter Species Wrestling in the United States of America.
THREE WAY MAYHEM!
August 26, 2005 – our debut show, “One Hit Wonder”, took place in “scenic” Valleyfield, Quebec. The building was hot. The crowd numbers were low. Everyone had a blast, though. The match of the night was a 3-way match – with Jigsaw taking on Hallowicked and Dan Paysan.
Well, in a match that very well steal our debut show in the US – the man who won that aforementioned match – Jigsaw – returns to Inter Species Wrestling for the first time in almost 4 years – looking to pick up another big 3-way victory. He will have his hands full, though – as this time around, he will face off against two very unorthodox opponents in the undead Zombified, and the ever-exciting generic luchador – El Generico.
This match could very well steal the show – and it’s not even the main event. We’ll lay that one on you in a week.
BRAINS ARE PINK
Zombified isn’t the only zombie we’ll be bringing with us into your fine country – as his one-time “Walking Dead” running mate – Izzie Deadyet will make his return to the US, as he takes on the debuting Pinkie Sanchez. The speedy and overly charismatic Sanchez was set to make his Inter Species Wrestling debut in October of 2008 – but due to a booking conflict – it never came to pass. Instead, he’ll make his first appearance closer to home – but his night will not be an easy one. Izzie Deadyet is coming off of 2 huge victories over both Zombified (bodybag match @ Slamtasia 2), and Viking (hard hitting hate-filled brawl @ Wham! Bam! Thank You Ma’am!) – and is looking to add more bodies to the pile.
BADD BLOOD
The most feared tag team in all of Canada – The Badd Boys – will be riding their choppers into East Hartford to take on an unlikely duo. See, over the years – the identical twins have mowed anyone who stood in their path. Issuing challenge after challenge – only to decimate anyone who stepped forth. Well, this time – the tables have turned. Two men who the brothers Badd have tormented in the past, have mustered up the inner strength to take a stand – and issue a challenge to these bullies.

In Connecticut, The Badd Boys will take on the odd couple of Vin Gerard and Buck Hawke. This will be Buck’s in-ring debut with Inter Species Wrestling, while Gerard has previously competed under his former masked identity of Equinox in the past.
PUTTING THE “ARRRRR” IN “RETURN!”
That’s right folks, Jolly Roger returns to Inter Species Wrestling, and wrestling in general, on August 8 in East Hartford. The last time we saw this man, he defeated Kenny the Bastard in Quebec – in a match he stated would be his final match as a professional wrestler. 4 years later, the pirate had a change of heart, and is making his return to the promotion where he ended it all.
His opponent – the self-replicating man monster, Hydra!. As far as we know, Hydra has no beef with Jolly Roger. We, the matchmakers, just felt it was fitting for a pirate to do battle with a sea monster.
