I don’t know how I forgot to mention this initially, but after negotiations fell through to bring Giant Tiger to Connecticut – we immediately began working on bringing him home to Montreal for the big anniversary show.
It was tough, but we are pleased to announce that the Gingerbread Man WILL be in the house on August 23.
However, at this time, no specific match has been signed for GT – as part of the arrangement for his appearance was that he gets to choose his own match on August 23. Through his agent – Billy – he claimed, to paraphrase, that Inter Species Wrestling management has taken advantage of him for too long with matches like the “Alco-brawl”, and allowing him to wrestle days after being shot. He didn’t trust that our intentions were good, and his stipulation was put into place – allowing him the right to choose his own role in the show.
Anyway – you asked for it, you got it – Giant Tiger CONFIRMED to appear at FOUR YEARS OF THIS?!
