IS “THREEQUEL” A WORD?
Hibernation began early for us in 2009. Shortly after our August anniversary spectacular – 4 Years of This!? – we decided that we’d done enough that year, and it was time to relax, refuel, and reflect on our accomplishments.
-SLAMTASIA 2 in February brought our biggest Foufs attendance yet.
-King of Trios in March gave us our first taste of exposure in the US.
-WHAM! BAM! Thank you, Ma’am in April, and the debut of the Alcobrawl. The most talked about match in Inter Species Wrestling history.
-The Vans Warped Tour in July saw the show go on, even with the biggest rainstorm of the year looming.
-The Worst That Could Happen…in Connecticut in August. Our first ever full show in the United States.
-The aforementioned big Anniversary show. Celebrating 4 years of us.
-Being featured on G4 TV’s Electric Playground.
There was simply nothing more we could have done in 2009 – so we decided to sleep through the cold Canadian winter – and try our luck again come springtime.
And here we go…
Inter Species Wrestling are absolutely JAZZED to announce that on April 3, 2010 – we will make our way down south to the Heirloom Arts Theatre in lovely Danbury, Connecticut – where we will proudly present SLAMTASIA 3 – our second ever full show in the United States of America.
Our first visit ended with a chorus of “Please come back” chants. Well, here we are. Bring your friends.
