GIANT TIGER IN CONNECTICUT
As announced on Tope Con Coolio last week – Inter Species Champion, Giant Tiger, is set to make his long-awaited American in-ring debut at SLAMTASIA 3 in Danbury, Connecticut. A homecoming of sorts, for the man who resides in Hollywood, California – but seemingly only wrestles in Montreal, Quebec.
This agreement was the end result to a series of long negotiations, in which the champion made many demands. All of which we, begrudgingly, met to keep our GT-sympathizing American fans happy.
The biggest demand made by the champ was that in order for him to appear in Danbury, we were not allowed to book him in a match against current #1 contender Kevin Steen, or the man he beat for the title – Player Uno. When asked who his ideal opponent for April 3 would be – the gingerbread man simply stated “no f*ckin’ clue.”
We’ll have more on this story as it develops.
LAST OF A DYING BREED
Also confirmed on Tope Con Coolio was the debut of someone we’ve wanted in Inter Species Wrestling for quite a while – “The King of Diamonds” himself, Eddie Kingston. For anyone not familiar with the king, check out the video posted below. We’ll have more news concerning Kingston’s debut in the coming weeks.
