GIANT TIGER vs. STEVEN WEINER?

Last week, a video was posted online by one Steven “The Turtle” Weiner – challenging Inter Species Champion – Giant Tiger to a match at SLAMTASIA 3 in Danbury, Connecticut.  Innocently plugging the show at first, Weiner then went on to speak of past issues he’s had with the dirty zookeeper, and then the challenge was issued.  This video, as we mentioned – not posted by us – came as a bit of a shock to us all.

If you haven’t seen it, check it out.

Just 2 days ago, the champion left the following voicemails on my phone.  Not all relevant, but some referring to Weiner and his challenge.

It would appear as if Giant Tiger has not accepted the challenge, and the search for an opponent is still on.

FAMILY MATTERS

While waiting for an opponent to be named for his second title defense on American soil – current reigining Other Champion Moohammad the Terrorist Cow hasn’t been in the best of moods.  His pet – Flip – lost a hard fought Lego Deathmatch at 4 YEARS of THIS?! (available on DVD now).
He can forgive that.  His younger brother, however, is what’s got him
pissed off.  See, at that same show – after Moohammad successfully
defended his title against James Stone, in a match that left him severely injured – young Moostafa
took the mic, and in an attempt to impress his younger brother -
challenged the biggest, toughest, and strongest in the locker room to
come out, and face him.  Dancing around, and not taking his opponent
seriously – another notch was added to the young calf’s seemingly
ever-growing losing streak.

Post show – older brother sat
younger brother down – informing him that terrorists don’t screw
around.  If he wants to carry on in the family business, he has to get
serious.  A defiant Moostafa then stood up, like James Van Der Beek in
Varsity Blues, and said “I don’t want to be a terrorist.  I want to be
a dancer!”  He then stomped off.

Since that hot August night,
Moohammad has been pissed.  Yes, he’s been pissed for like 6 months.
He’s a terrorist.  They don’t forget.

He made a request.  As
a way to teach his younger brother a lesson – he asked us to sign a
match between his loyal pet – Flip – and his disobedient brother -
Moostafa – for April 3 at the Heirloom Arts Theatre.  Can the reformed
burger flipper instill some second-hand tough love in the bovine
b-boy?  I guess we’ll find out.

We
just received word that an impressive New England talent, as well as a
popular tag-team have both been signed to make their Inter Species
Wrestling debut at SLAMTASIA 3.  What will they do?  Who will they
face?  Has the Badd Challenge been accepted?

Also, a return of a former roster member?

Hmmm…
