REGRETS – BUT ONLY KINDA?
We regret to inform everyone that the poster for GANIMANIA has been made to look like a huge frickin’ liar – due to some unfortunate unforseen circumstances.
Local superhero – Addy Starr – was unable to secure a Friday night off from fighting crime to compete at GANIMANIA. Can’t hold it against her, as she’s out there keeping us safe. As a gesture of awesomeness – Addy appointed her own replacement – Ontario standout Jodi D’Milo. A rival of Addy’s from the scene – D’Milo is as hard hitting and dangerous as a lady can get, and she’ll bring that to Gatineau, Quebec on January 27, 2012. A suitable replacement.
American funny man and trainer to the stars – Dan Barry – will be MIA on January 27. He has a strictly-heterosexual crush on John Leguizamo, and upon finding out that he has a part in the upcoming movie “One For the Money” – in theatres the same day as the event – he backed out. In his place – we introduce to you Leon St. Giovanni from Ibiza, Spain.
The last 3 months have been great for Twiggy. He finally captured the Inter Species Title. Re-kindled a love relationship with Zubaz pants. And just recently – received an invite to compete in the World Air Guitar Championships in sunny California. Unfortunately for us – the competition lands on the exact same day as GANIMANIA. We’re all about our friends living their dreams – so we gave the Twigster the night off – so he can capture more gold, hearts, and possibly a sunburn. Twiggy is irreplaceable – but we found someone who was the same size, and has dance moves that’d rival the champion’s strut. To the delight of all the young ladies in attendance – teen heartthrob Dustin Beaver will take a weekend off from his extensive tour schedule, to make his debut for Inter Species Wrestling at GANIMANIA.
Also making his debut – a local wrestler we’ve had our eye on for a heck of a long time – Jae Rukin. If you’re from the National Capital Region – you’ve seen his work, and it speaks for itself. If you haven’t, well, he’s basically a freakin’ ninja. Cool?
SNEAK PEEK 3
The first ever GANIME WRESTLING CHAMPION will be crowned via a 6 man, 2 round tournament – consisting of two 3-way semifinal matches, and a single match final. Who will take part in the tournament? Well, the answer is below…
